Murchison Mining Services is a WA owned and run business we specialize in underground project & Infrastructure works; we provide quality on-site support for our clients in the safe delivery and installation of underground projects and mine services.

Due to expansion at out Carrapateena Mine site project (South Australia) Murchison Mining is seeking experienced underground Fitters for an immediate start, point of Hire is Adelaide all flights to Adelaide will be provided on a 2/2 D/S roster

It is essential you have demonstrated experience with adherence to safe work systems and a proactive attitude towards workplace safety.

• FIFO From all major cities to point of hire

• 2/2 D/S Roster

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Site supervisor you will be responsible for the Maintenance and servicing of the below equipment.

• 7 x Toyota Landcruiser Utes
• Isuzu NPS Flatbed truck
• Caterpillar 930M & Hitachi ZW250 Machines
• Caterpillar 299D3 Skid Steer
• Merlo Telehandler
• Trailer mounted Concrete pump
• Hitachi ZX55U-5T Excavators
• Various small diesel generators and auxiliary equipment

Your Skills:

• Experience in underground projects and infrastructure in an underground hard rock mine
• Relevant trade certificate
• A high standard of work quality and housekeeping
• C Class Drivers' license
• A current National Police Clearance (6 months Validity) or be in the position to obtain one.
• Be physically fit and must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, full functional assessment and Drug and Alcohol screen.
• Experienced underground in the following: integrated tool carriers' operation, light vehicle operation and maintenance.
