Where You’ll Work

Kulkarriya Community School, near the Fitzroy River in WA, is a proudly Aboriginal-led K–10 school. We champion a two-way learning model, blending WA curriculum with local languages and culture. English is a second or third language for many students, and the teaching team works closely with Aboriginal Education Workers to deliver inclusive, culturally grounded education.

What You’ll Do

Deliver differentiated lessons aligned with the WA curriculum

Co-teach with Aboriginal educators to embed local knowledge

Build strong relationships across students, families, and staff

Support extra-curriculars like sport, music, and on-country learning

Engage in community events, camps, and excursions

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor of Education, TRBWA registration, and WWCC

A passion for remote or Aboriginal education — early-career teachers welcome!

Experience or willingness to learn ESL/EALD and trauma-informed strategies

Strong classroom management and culturally responsive practice

A valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle (4WD preferred or willingness to learn)
