About the role

Cairns Bus Charters is seeking experienced Bus and Coach Drivers to join our team in Cairns, QLD 4870. This is a permanent/part-time position, offering the opportunity to work flexible hours across a range of charter services, including airport transfers, custom touring, corporate and conference groups, sporting teams, and much more. We operate a variety of vehicles from large 60-seat coaches to small private transfer vehicles, down to a 10-seater Mercedes Sprinter

What you'll be doing

Safely operating buses and coaches to transport passengers to and from their destinations

Providing high-quality customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Maintaining accurate trip logs and reporting any issues or incidents

Adhering to all relevant traffic laws, company policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

Valid heavy vehicle or bus license (minimum LR, pref MR class)

At least 2 years of experience driving buses or coaches in a commercial setting

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor

Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
