First Class Machinist – Full-Time | Maddington WA

Join a Skilled, Supportive Team in Earthmoving Component Repairs

We’re a small, family-owned workshop based in Maddington, specialising in the repair of earthmoving components. With a highly experienced team and a solid reputation, we’re now looking to welcome another first class machinist to our crew.

This is a full-time position, with the option for overtime or flexible working hours. We also welcome applications from enthusiastic 3rd or 4th year apprentices who are eager to learn and grow in the trade.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate manual machines including lathes, milling machines, and vertical borers

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, machining to precise tolerances

• Use precision measuring instruments to maintain fine tolerances (±0.01mm)

• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment

• Use hand and power tools as part of your daily tasks

• (Optional) Apply metal spray techniques – experience is a bonus, not a requirement

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade-qualified First Class Machinist (or equivalent)

• Strong hands-on experience in manual machining

• A keen eye for detail and pride in quality workmanship

• A team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
