We are looking for a DENTAL ASSISTANT to join our Oracle Dental family.

Oracle Dental is a modern, non-corporate dental practice located in Broadbeach. We have lovely long-standing patients and low staff turn over. The opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, empathetic and hard-working individual to join our dental team.

We are looking for a team member who would like to work long-term in this friendly, family-oriented general practice. The position is primarily dental assisting with the opportunity to be involved in some administrative and practice management tasks as well. The position is 4 days per week.

We are looking for a candidate who can bring passion and enthusiasm to the practice. You must have a strong work ethic and be a team player. Your appearance, manners, knowledge and attitude are important and must reflect positively on the practice. You also must have a genuine long term career interest and commitment to the position. There is opportunity to help with the growth and development of the practice.

The individual must be warm, friendly and reliable. Experience in all aspects of dentistry including oral surgery and implants is preferred.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

chairside assistance

infection control and sterilisation to Australian standards

strong communication and interpersonal skills

charting and recording notes in patient files

scheduling appointments, taking phone calls and answering patient enquiries professionally

use of HICAPS, medicare, zip and afterpay payments

stock management

patient recall management

marketing and social media management

Required:

dental assisting experience, minimum 12 months

experience with oral surgery and implant procedures an advantage

EXACT software experience an advantage

excellent phone skills

team mindset and passion for patient care

ability to prioritize and multitask
