About the role

Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
• Demonstrated ability to apply principles of case management by demonstrating advanced planning and coordination in the development of individualised care plans for Medical Oncology and Haematology patients accessing care.
• Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within the Cancer Care Services.
