CK Recruitment is currently seeking a Waste Sorter / Plant Runner for one of Sydney's major waste management companies located in Wetherill Park.

These roles are working at a waste management facility, dealing with industrial waste. I.e. building material, concrete, steel etc.

The Waste Sorters role is picking off a conveyor belt and general cleaning in the plant. The Plant Runner role is about moving through the factory and trying to identify problems before they happen. The role requires attention to details, good communication skills and to alert the Plant Controller of any potential mechanical, electrical and material issues.

The rates for this role is starting at $31.23

Once our client has confirmed you are fully competent for the role you will move to a higher rate.

To be considered you must have;

C Class license and own transport due to location

Morning shift commencing at 4am and finishes at 2.30pm. You will work a 10 hour day during the busy period and a 9 hour day when not so busy.

Overtime available.

Ability to work on a process line

Physically fit and willing to do manual laboring (including some heavy lifting and cleaning)

Ability to work quickly and stay focused on the task

Good communication skills

Please note, this job involves working in a dusty environment which require you to wear face masks, eye protection and long sleeve clothing. (the face masks are provided)
