About the role
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth warehouse and logistics operations for Independence Australia. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- You will be responsible for performing pick and pack duties within a fast-paced warehouse environment, using a Reach Forklift or High Reach (HR) Forklift to safely retrieve, move, and store products in high racking systems, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
- Efficiently pick and pack orders to meet national KPIs, responsible for accurately preparing orders for shipment, ensuring quality and attention to detail in every task.
- Accurately receive and process goods against purchase orders, updating the ERP system in a timely manner.
- Assist in uploading the container from time to time as per business requirement.
- Collaborate with the team while working independently to complete tasks.
About you
You are someone who possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and have the ability to efficiently pick, pack, and process orders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, be physically fit, and possess strong organizational skills. If you are a motivated team player with a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you! You will also be required to have the following:
- Available for the morning (6.00am - 2.00pm) or afternoon shifts (2.00pm - 10.00pm).
- Able to provide 100 points of ID and two work references.
- Experienced in pick packing using both High Reach and standard forklifts (Reach Forklift trained).
- Ability to clear both police check and medical assessment.
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a warehouse pick packer and possess average computer skills for inventory and order processing tasks.
