The Stores & Warehouse Team Leader plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse and store areas. This hands-on position is responsible for coordinating daily workflows, supervising warehouse team members, and optimising inventory handling processes to support timely and accurate order fulfilment. The role involves managing receipt and dispatch of goods, liaising with transport drivers and couriers to ensure the safe loading, and unloading of shipments, and maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and housekeeping. A strong focus on attention to detail, record keeping, and operational coordination is essential to meet customer needs and uphold our Company standards.

Key accountabilities include:

Managing and coordinating customer and inventory orders for dispatch to meet delivery in full on time.

Providing general day to day coordination of the stores and warehouse location, including leading, coaching and training of team members.

Receiving goods inwards and verifying against orders and documentation provided in SAP.

Loading and unloading containers and other freight as required.

Providing timely and accurate picking, packing and dispatch of all products.

Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of products, parts, and part numbers.

Carrying out orders for assembly/manufacture as required of parts and accessories.

Liaising with transport and couriers when receiving and dispatching goods.

Maintaining effective and accurate stock of consumables.

Maintaining accurate inventory records of all parts including cycle counting and stock takes.

Ensuring high attention to detail for accurate record management and to minimise errors and waste.

Reporting maintenance requirements of equipment as needed.

Initiating and participating in improvement activities.

Maintaining a current forklift licence.

Ensuring all work undertaken is in accordance with legislation and Company policy/procedures, especially in regards to Environment, Workplace Health & Safety and Equality.
