The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join the team. Work Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with 1 RDO per month. Initially casual - fulltime hours, with potential to transition into a long-term role.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate knowledge and experience in project/contract management of civil infrastructure/construction projects

Mathematical and technical engineering skills with the ability to organise/resolve complex engineering and design issues

Experience specific to Australian Standard contracts AS2124 and AS4916

Highly developed leadership, interpersonal and team building skills/experience that demonstrates ability to build positive team cultures

Strong skills in decision making, negotiation, facilitation and problem solving

Advanced computer literacy in a range of applications e.g. Microsoft Office, asset management, project management and record keeping systems

Extensive experience in writing various forms of technical and strategic reports

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage a range of stakeholders

Working knowledge of the design standards, principles, theories and concepts

Developing and implementing capital programs

Preparation of contract documentation, technical specifications and assessment of submissions

The Criteria:

Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering

Project Management

Current ‘C’ driver’s licence
