About the Role:

Tiger Waste is looking for a highly organized and proactive Fleet / Asset Controller.

As our Fleet / Asset Controller, you will oversee the scheduling, dispatching, maintenance and compliance of our waste collection vehicles and bins. You'll play a key role in ensuring that services are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Day-to-Day operations and maintenance schedules.

Assist with daily waste collection schedules and route planning.

Assist with workshop planning and maintenance schedules.

Assist with the procurement of parts and equipment.

Manage the allocation of bins and static equipment.

Monitor and dispatch vehicles using GPS tracking systems.

Utilise company specific software and systems (Gearbox, Binbiz).

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Liaise with drivers, workshop teams, and operations staff.

Monitor driver performance, fatigue management, and incident reporting.

Maintain accurate records for vehicle usage, service schedules, and fuel management.

Respond promptly to service delays, breakdowns, or route changes.

Drive continuous improvement in fleet efficiency and service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in fleet control or transport coordination (waste management experience highly regarded)

Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR regulations

Exceptional communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in fleet management systems and Microsoft Office.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
