MV Proud Mary has been proudly cruising the Murray River since 1981, delivering unforgettable experiences to guests from across the globe. In 2019, after three consecutive wins in the Specialised Tourism Services category, Proud Mary was inducted into the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame — a testament to the service, quality, and legacy behind this iconic vessel.

In 2025, Proud Mary underwent a stunning refurbishment, breathing new life into her classic charm with refreshed interiors and upgraded guest spaces — ready to welcome a new generation of travellers in comfort and style.

Operating in both domestic and international markets, our team of 30+ professionals work across our purpose-built Norwood office and aboard the vessel on the beautiful Murray River. We're proud of what we’ve built — and excited about where we’re going.

The Opportunity

Based at our Norwood head office, this role includes regular interstate travel to nurture existing relationships and grow new ones. You’ll be promoting and selling unique holiday packages centred around Proud Mary’s cruises to the retiree market across your territory.

This is more than just a sales role — it’s about storytelling, building connections, and inspiring travellers to experience the Murray in a truly special way.

You’re personable, proactive, and results-driven — someone who enjoys building trust with clients and delivering meaningful travel experiences. You’ll love meeting new people, have a genuine passion for tourism, and the confidence to turn interest into bookings.

What You Bring

A proven background in sales

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills — both over the phone and in person

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
