Your Role as a Leader

This is a dual role:

60% clinical work delivering meaningful, strengths-based OT supports

40% protected leadership time to mentor, grow, and guide the team

You’ll be the go-to OT for clinical guidance, help shape service delivery, and work closely with our psychologist director. Leadership responsibilities are fully integrated into your role, with protected time embedded into your workweek—no after-hours supervision or work tacked on.

What We Offer

💰 $110,000 – $118,000 pro rata salary (plus super, PD, and other benefits). We believe in transparency—our salary range is exclusive of super. No inflated ‘total package’ numbers here, just a clear and honest offer.

⏰ 4–5 days/week with flexible scheduling to support your work-life balance.

📚 A generous professional development program, including a $2,000 pro rata annual PD budget, one week (pro rata) of paid study leave, and access to our annual multidisciplinary facilitated PD series. Our 2025 series includes engaging, in-person workshops held onsite at Playology, with guest facilitators leading sessions in Bridges Out of Poverty, Floortime DIR, Learn to Play, Teaching Critical Communication Skills, and Service Without Selling. These opportunities are available to all team members, and offered in addition to your personalised PD plan and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Mentor and supervise a small team using reflective, strengths-based practice

Grow and lead our OT services across clinic, school, and community settings

Deliver high-quality, neuroaffirming OT supports tailored to real-life outcomes

Collaborate with psychologists, therapy assistants, and families for holistic care

Contribute to team culture, innovation, and service improvement

About You

Registered OT with AHPRA, with 4+ years’ paediatric experience

Skilled in mentoring or supervising other practitioners

Committed to functional, neuroaffirming, family-centred therapy

Hold a Working with Children Check and driver’s licence

Bonus if you also have:

NDIS experience

Training and experience in strengths based reflective practice supervision/mentoring

Interest in program development or team initiatives
