Global Soils is a leading environmental consultancy and contractor specialising in mine site revegetation and rehabilitation.

We are seeking an experienced Skid steer operator to assist with the establishment and maintenance of vegetation across a number of mine sites in the Hunter Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery safely and efficiently in various site conditions

The use of various attachments – Forestry mulcher, Slasher, Bucket, Ripper

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment

Adhere to all site safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Maintain accurate records of daily work activities

About you:

Minimum 2 years' experience as an operator (Skidsteer)

Current SOA/VOC for Skidsteer operations

Valid driver’s licence (preferably MR)

Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices

Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and adapt to changing conditions

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Desirable:

Experience working on a mine site or civil construction

Experience operating other machinery e.g. Tractor/excavator

Qualifications in Agriculture/Horticulture/Conservation/Landscaping or related discipline

Current AQF3 chemical handling accreditation

White card

The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and police reference check.
