Fine Choice Stone | The Porcelain Factory is a medium sized company specialising in stone and porcelain surfaces, such as benchtops, splashbacks and wall cladding.

Working at a very high standard and enjoy a solid reputation for quality and customer service, we deal with architects and designers, builders, cabinet makers and general customers.

We are an expanding family business in Carrum Downs in the south east suburbs with state of the art CNC Machinery, currently operating 2 CNC waterjet machines, 2 CNC bridge saws, 1 CNC routing machine with a full wet cutting and polishing facility. We manufacture and install porcelain, marble, granite and reconstituted stone benchtops and wall panels Victoria wide.

About the Role

We have a number of new positions available to join a highly motivated and dedicated team in the manufacturing and installations of Natural Stone and Porcelain benchtops, splashbacks and wall cladding.

Experienced Stone Masons:

Lift & carry materials correctly

Must know how to handle natural stone

Work with different materials (Porcelain & Natural stone)

Competent with pneumatic hand tools, grinders & polishers

Have high attention to details

Be reliable and punctual

Be a team player and "can do" attitude

Be a quick learner and have problem solving skills

Must have recently had or be willing to undertake the required medical tests prior to starting

Experienced Installer:

Lift & carry materials correctly

High attention to detail

Must know how to handle natural stone

Work with different materials (Porcelain & Natural stone)

Confident with using power tools such as polisher

Reliable & able to meet installation schedules

Car licence (manual desirable)

Be reliable and punctual

Good at problem solving

Good communication skills

White Card (Desirable)

Must have recently had or be willing to undertake the required medical tests prior to starting

Fri 8 - 2:30
