About the Role
As a Myotherapist or Remedial Therapist with us, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to a diverse caseload of clients, from elite athletes to weekend warriors. Your focus will be on addressing musculoskeletal pain, dysfunction, and improving overall physical well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough assessments to identify the root cause of musculoskeletal issues within your scope of practice.
Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans using a variety of manual therapy techniques within your scope of practice.
Providing clients with effective self-management strategies and at-home advice.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
Collaborating with other therapists and health professionals within the clinic to ensure holistic client care.
Adhering to professional and ethical standards of practice.
Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified: Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy or Remedial Massage (or equivalent recognized qualification).
Experienced: Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on sports or musculoskeletal injuries.
Registered: Current registration with a relevant professional association (e.g., Myotherapy Association Australia, Massage & Myotherapy Australia).
Insured: Valid professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Passionate: A genuine passion for helping people achieve their health and performance goals.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proactive: Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage a caseload effectively.
