Mechanical Fitters – Shutdowns & Fixed Plant Maintenance

The Role:
We are currently seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters to join our shutdown and fixed plant maintenance team. You will be working on a variety of sites performing preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy fixed plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repairs on crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes
• Fault-finding and breakdown response
• Execute work in line with safety and quality standards
• Participate in shutdowns, scheduled maintenance, and site inspections
• Complete job documentation and follow site procedures

Requirements:

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
• Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance or shutdowns
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical (PEM) and regular Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• High Risk Work Licence & Confined Space/Working at Heights (desirable)
