The Firm & Role

Our client is a growing national commercial law firm. The partners are well known and leaders in their field.

The firm has a stellar client base and acts for major corporations across a broad range of industry sectors e.g. financial services, property, construction, manufacturing, retail, education, media, technology, mining & resources.

Due to a strong pipeline of work, this law firm is looking to recruit a litigation/insolvency lawyer at the 3 to 8 year pae level.

A flavour of the work will include:

• winding up applications
• recoveries and banking litigation
• working on insolvencies, administrations, liquidations, receiverships
• advising on directors obligations and personal insolvencies
• general commercial disputes
• high value contractual disputes
• restructures and workouts
• preference claims
• advising on corporate distress
• advising on insolvent trading claims

You will have responsibility appropriate for your level. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well respected partner who enjoys developing their lawyers.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be at the 3 to 8 years pae level
• Have strong writing skills
• Have commercial acumen
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to work in a committed and high performing team
• Have excellent organisation skills and manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Have a passion for litigation
