The Shire of Plantagenet is seeking to appoint a Transfer Station Attendant. The successful applicant will provide relief to permanent staff at Shire’s various waste facility sites.

This is a casual position which reports to the Waste Officer. The hours of work will be on a casual basis as required and will include Saturday and Sunday shifts. Previous experience in the operation of a waste transfer station facility is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a person with the following:

Strong verbal skills to enable communication with members of the public

Excellent customer service skills; and

Developed literacy and numeracy skills

Salary: Level 2 - $32.95 per hour plus casual loading
