We have a great opportunity for you to start or build your career in the Waste Industry delivering essential waste management services across South East Melbourne. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver to operate a front or rear lift truck in the waste management industry. On offer are fantastic pay rates ($40 ph + penalties & allowances) and ongoing work. Early starts at 2am with early finishes available in Danenong South

Location: Dandenong South VIC

Pay Rate: From $40 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday | Early starts between 2:00 AM - 3:00 AM

Shift Duration: 8-10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Rear Lift, or Front Lift trucks for scheduled commercial waste collections
• Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is maintained to safety standards
• Follow route schedules efficiently and report any delays or issues
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
• Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
• Operate a front or rear lift waste collection truck
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic truck maintenance
• Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations
• Maintain a clean and professional truck at all times

Requirements

• Valid HR Truck Licence
• Must have minimum 2 years HR driving & rear lift experience (waste industry experience highly regarded)
• Strong reliability and commitment to early morning starts
• Physically fit with the ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift
• Driving history report required
