About Our Client

Our client is a trusted civil construction company specializing in utility infrastructure and maintenance across South East Queensland. Since 2013, they have built a reputation for delivering high-quality water, sewer and stormwater solutions.

What you will be doing
They are currently seeking an experienced PE Poly Welder for a long term subdivision project in Caboolture. The successful candidate will be required to work 9-10 hour days, Monday to Friday, commencing at 6:30am daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties;

Complete PE Poly Welding (Polyethylene) on 900mm poly pipe and be capable of operating McElroy track star welders.

Setup and Operation of Fusion Equipment

Ensure proper alignment, clamping, facing (planning), and heating of pipe ends

Monitor and adjust machine settings based on pipe size, wall thickness, and environmental conditions.

Pipe Preparation

Fusion Welding (Butt Fusion)

Weld Quality Control

Work closely with pipe fitters, operators, and supervisors to align pipe and manage workflow

What you will need

Driver’s Licence

Construction White Card

Extensive PE Poly Welding experience – specially with pipes

McElroy equipment experience

PMBWELD302E – Electrofusion weld polyethylene pipelines or PMBWELD301E – Butt weld polyethylene plastic pipelines
