We are looking for a part or full-time speech pathologist - experienced or new graduate (child and adolescent) to join our friendly, busy, multi-disciplinary clinics in the Western Suburbs - Keilor East.

Anticipated commencement: As soon as possible

Little Kingdom Therapy is a privately owned Allied Health Clinic which has a large client base aged 18 months to 20 years of age. Our caseload is ever increasing and we have found the need to expand our team.

You will manage a varied caseload ranging from paediatric to early adult clients living with or without a disability. You’ll work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a range of speech therapy services, including intervention, assessments, set goals and develop comprehensive therapy plans.

Why join us?

Clinic-based setting - Work with like-minded people, within a multi-disciplinary team within a clinic base supported environment.

Shadow period - Four weeks of shadow period provided with direct supervision from a senior speech pathologist and six weeks of increased supervision.

In-house paid supervision - You will work directly with your primary supervisor and team. You will have weekly, individual and group supervision, direct client observations, report writing support, and weekly group training.

Team support - Join a wonderful speech team for clinical support and allied health colleagues for extended team support. Weekly speech and whole team training will allow you to build your clinical knowledge from a multidisciplinary perspective. In-house psychology support will also be provided.

Clinic-based - You will work mainly from your own office and will be able to create your own space.

Reduced caseload - You will have a caseload of four clients a day plus administration time (appointments will be in the clinic).

Ongoing development and supervision - Receive a generous annual professional development allowance and the opportunity to progress clinically in your career. You will meet with your team once a week for speech-specific training and with the allied health team weekly for multidisciplinary training. In-house support will be available daily and scheduled in your diary. Weekly formal supervision is also provided.

Competitive remuneration - Receive a great wage, laptop, opportunities for Saturday work (at an attractive rate) and potential incentive/bonus structure.

Great environment - Work with like-minded people, with regular staff functions, free parking and have variety in your position with a diverse caseload of clients.
