Our client, a national leader in the warehousing and distribution sector, currently have vacant positions available for All round Storeman / Forklift Operators to join their team based in the Blacktown Region.

Position Brief Below.

• Monday - Friday work
• 10am - 6pm shift
• Ongoing temp - full time ( successful applicant)
• $38 per hour + allowance
• ASAP start
• Blacktown Location

Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast paced working environment is essential.

Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands on role assisting with the day to day operations which will include picking / packing , putaways, replenishment ,loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse working in the chiller and Freezer sections .

The role involves; but will not be limited to:

• Operation of Forklifts- High Reach ( Toyota) & Counter balance
• Operation of Electric Pallet Jacks
• High reach double deep experience is MUST (Minimum 12 months)
• Stock rotation and replenishment
• Picking and packing orders
• Usage of pallet wrapping machines
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• General warehousing duties
• Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role, you MUST :

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience on Toyota forklifts a Highly Desirable
• Double Deep Experience is a MUST
• Previous experience with 6- 7 bays high
• Have minimum 2 years experience within a similar industry or role
• ability to commence asap
• Experience within a freezer / cold room environment highly desirable
• Great communication skills both written and verbally
• Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
• Have your OWN reliable transport
• Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
• Be reliable and punctual
• RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
