The Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer (PHP/React) to join their team in Sydney. This a permanent role with hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

Build scalable, enterprise-grade applications that meet stringent performance requirements.

Solve complex technical challenges with support from experienced team members.

Drive continuous improvement using Agile methodologies.

Write clean, well-structured code following coding standards and best practices.

Identify and resolve defects in software systems with advanced troubleshooting skills.

Play a key role in project discovery and optimization efforts to meet enterprise needs.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

4+ years’ experience in full-stack development (backend heavy) with PHP and React.

Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns (desirable)

Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN, CVS) and CI/CD pipelines (desirable)

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI), Docker, or virtualized environments (desirable)
