Your new role
We're currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Storeperson Grade 2 to join a high-performing NSW Government team in Tweed Heads. This is a fantastic 6-month opportunity with a competitive hourly rate and the potential for extension.

If you have strong inventory management skills, a forklift licence, and a good understanding of industrial electrical components, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain inventory in a structured warehouse environment
  
• Operate forklifts to move stock and materials
  
• Assist with the implementation of a new inventory system in SAP
  
• Contribute to process improvements and efficient stock control
  
• Handle and store industrial electrical assets (e.g. variable speed limit signs)
  
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and support general logistics functions
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Forklift licence - Mandatory
• Class C driver's licence - Mandatory
• Confined Space Ticket & CPR/LVR - Highly Regarded
• Prior experience with inventory systems and warehouse operations
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong understanding of industrial or electrical asset environments
  
  

What you'll get in return

• Hourly Rate: $44.61 + Super
• Contract Length: 6 months, with extension potential
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm (RDO every fortnight)
• Occasional overtime and night work
