About the Role:

Tradewind Australia is recruiting for Experienced Casual Early Childhood Educators for a number of Early Learning Centres around the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

If you are a qualified Early Childhood Educator, with relevant experience and you hold a completed Cert III we'd love to hear from you!

As a Casual Early Childhood Educator with Tradewind you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch care and education to young people. This role is all about flexibility, giving you the chance to work on your own terms while still making a real difference in the lives of children.

Key duties:

• Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities.
• Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences.

Skills & Experience:

• Fully completed Certificate III in ECE (or ACEQUA equivalent)
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain)
• A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential (outside of placement)

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Passionate about early childhood education and care and a commitment to child safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A consistent willingness to get stuck in and show initiative
• Ability to work effectively as part of any team
• Strong understanding of EYLF and Child Safety Standards
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
