Qualified Security Officer (L2)

Risk 2 Solution Group is a national, Brisbane based integrated healthcare, safety, security and risk company and we pride ourselves on the high level of support we offer to our clients.

We are currently seeking applications and expressions of interest from Security Officers to fill permanent positions for immediate start on a new project within Queensland, North West of the Sunshine Coast

The role requires maintaining the safety, site access control, well-being and security of client staff, residents, stakeholders, visitors, the general public and client property and assets.

Rosters will be 7 days on, 7 days off (12 hour day shifts) standard unless otherwise scheduled

DIDO for local staff opportunity, Accommodation (Camp) and meals provided

Remote/rural area deployment

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (preferred)

To be successful in these roles applicants will be required to:

Provide a customer service approach and maintain a fair, courteous and respectful manner in dealing with residents, clients, visitors, stakeholders and the public.

Demonstrated ability to maintain the security integrity of sites, buildings and maintain effective access control

Take a problem-solving approach to conflict situations and recognise the need to escalate situations to the supervisor, manager emergency services and Client for attention as appropriate.

Demonstrate good communication skills and be able to handle with tact and diplomacy any confrontations.

Maintain recording and reporting systems including incident reports, hazard and risk assessments, and daily security logs.

Ability to effectively monitor standard Surveillance systems

Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the implementation and management of emergency procedures

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:

QLD Security Providers License Class 1 (Unarmed, Monitoring, Crowd Controller)

QLD Drivers license

AFP National Police Clearance

HLTAID009 Provide CPR

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or higher

HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in remote and isolated sites

HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing

RIIVEH305F Operate and maintain a 4WD vehicle

CPCWHS1001 “White Card”
