The Role:
The role would see you play a key role in ensuring efficient project delivery, utilising advanced technologies like Topcon GPS, LPS, Magnet Office, and Unicontrol GPS systems on excavators and loaders. With three in-house surveyors, the team supports a strong work-life balance while maintaining high operational standards. Recent investments in GPS-guided machinery have significantly reduced onsite surveying demands and streamlined operations, contributing to the company’s ongoing growth and quality control.

You would be responsible for:

• Direct and conduct surveys to establish site boundaries based on statutory requirements.
• Locate and record infrastructure and services on project sites.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations.
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
• Conduct site set-outs and ensure accurate placement of survey pegs.
• Liaise with local shires and governing bodies, communicate construction issues to senior management, and manage surveying costs while ensuring accurate on-site activity.

Skills and experience required:

• Qualification in surveying.
• Minimum of 3 years surveying experience in the Perth metro area, ideally within subdivisions.
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Extensive knowledge of survey equipment and instruments, including Total Stations.
• Willing to work the occasional weekend.
