About the role

Laser Wizard Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturing company in St Marys NSW, is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team on a full-time day shift. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art brake press equipment, playing a vital part in our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring the brake press with precision and efficiency
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and production targets
• Performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting on the brake press equipment
• Identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions in a timely manner
• Collaborating with the wider manufacturing team to ensure smooth workflow
• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations
• Able to interpret engineering drawings.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work on a day shift schedule
