Supply Officer – Casual with Potential for Permanent

Location: Jandakot, Western Australia
Start Date: Flexible
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, with some on-call roster requirements

A leading infrastructure business is seeking a proactive Supply Officer to join their team on a casual basis, with the potential for permanent employment. This role will be based in Jandakot and involves managing the receipt, dispatch, and logistics of inventory and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute receiving and dispatch processes efficiently.
• Ensure timely provision of inventory and equipment in line with the rolling work plan.
• Prepare, pick, package, and stage inventory and equipment for delivery.
• Manage the pipeline courier service manifest to meet work pack schedules.
• Safely handle materials and equipment, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure correct allocation of cost centres and network numbers for all goods and services.
• Coordinate with logistics suppliers to facilitate inbound and outbound freight movements.
• Deliver on all commitments per third-party contract terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external customer requirements, while measuring performance against customer satisfaction.
• Report and rectify any non-compliance to maintain high service standards.
• Contribute to cost reduction strategies by identifying potential cost-saving opportunities within the business.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

• Experience in the utilities, construction, or mining sectors is preferred.
• Strong understanding and application of health, safety, and quality systems.
• Certificate IV in WHS or related discipline, or equivalent WHS program experience.
• Experience managing return to work and workers’ compensation
• Proactive in working with WHS and energy regulators.
