About the role

Join the True Roots Pty Ltd team as a Powerline Vegetation Manager. In this casual role, you will be responsible for managing vegetation growth around powerlines in the Sydney NSW 2000 area. Your expertise in managing powerline vegetation will be crucial in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the electrical network.

What you'll be doing

Regularly accessing powerline corridors and surrounding areas to remove vegetation growth of all sizes.

Coordinating and overseeing the trimming and clearing of vegetation to maintain safe clearances around powerlines.

Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.

Reporting on vegetation management activities and outcomes.

Collaborating with the broader operations team to optimise powerline vegetation management.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in powerline vegetation management or a related field.

Proficiency in the use of chainsaws or tree trimming tools.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

A commitment to safety and a track record of safe work practices.

Truck license and Cert 3 Arborist licenses preferred.
