About Gough Plastics:
Gough Plastics is a family-owned and operated business with an environmental focus that influences every aspect of our profession.
We manufacture and deliver products including water storage tanks, waterless toilet systems, durable general storage containers, underbody gear and water storage, cattle feed troughs, moulded plastic waste entry points and super heavy-duty plastic crane dunnage.

What you will do:
Due to expansion of our business at 40 Penelope Road, Stuart, Townsville we require an additional Truck driver to support our current increase in deliveries in the North Queensland area. Timings to be discussed agreed at time of interview/offer of employment. Some deliveries might require overtime to be worked

Pay:

$32 – $35 per hour + 25% Casual allowance

Position Overview:
• Essential to have a minimum of a LR or MR Licence
• Essential to have a forklift ticket and have a few years’ experience at an operational level.
• Previous experience picking/packing orders.
• Experience in loading/unloading trucks and tie down procedures.
• Must be customer focused
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test prior to commencement and random testing.
• Must be able to follow direction.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Be physically fit and healthy.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
• Ability to follow defined Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Be able to work within team environments to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications/Skills:
Forklift (LF) Licence
Light Rigid (LR)/Medium Rigid (MR) Licence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
