A leading defendant insurance firm is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Lawyer to join its busy and high-performing Sydney CBD practice. 🔍 The Role
You’ll manage a broad defendant workers’ compensation portfolio and advise major corporate clients and insurers. This role offers autonomy, mentoring from senior practitioners, and the chance to build long-term client relationships within a structured and supportive team.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse defendant workers’ compensation caseload
• Drafting pleadings, preparing evidence, and appearing at hearings
• Providing strategic legal advice to employers, insurers, and claims managers
• Liaising with clients, counsel, and medical professionals
• Contributing to internal knowledge-sharing and training initiatives

✅ You’ll Need

• 2–10 years' PAE in defendant workers’ compensation law (NSW focus)
• Additional WID and Public Liability (preferred but not essential)
• Strong litigation and advisory experience
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client communication and file management skills
• Familiarity with iManage, LawDocs, or similar legal systems is highly regarded
