Details: This role offers the opportunity for a critical and curious thinker with great initiative to join an agile and multi-disciplinary team delivering and collaborating on a broad range of economic development initiatives.

The Assistant Director works closely with the Director and Senior Director to:

• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of major economic policy initiatives
• Support, collaborate and foster effective partnerships and relationships. This may include stakeholder engagement where project relevant.
• Work on a range of economic development policy and legislation matters
• Coordinate and contribute to the development of high-quality reports, submissions, high level briefs and correspondence
• Actively participate and contribute to a positive and high performing team
• Support the Senior Director in providing advice to Executives and Ministers to resolve complex policy and legislation problems
