With a 30-year history of successful multi-site operations, BMI Resource Recovery is a Brisbane based, privately owned organisation providing recycling, waste transfer and landfill activities focused on optimal recovery of resources from building and construction activities.

Our Resource Recovery sites are located at Nudgee, Mt Gravatt, Acacia Ridge, Larapinta, Stapylton and Redbank Plains. We actively minimize waste going into landfill and maximize recycling initiatives while providing a broad range of quality resources for the building, landscaping, and civil construction industries.

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker with extensive experience in working with mobile plant (Dozers, Loaders, Excavators, Moxis) to be based at our Acacia Ridge facility, and other sites as needed.

This is a full-time, permanent position on our day shift team, working Monday to Friday, with every second Saturday required.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Upholding high Safety, Health & Environmental standards.

Identifying and reporting maintenance needs to ensure machinery remains in good repair.

Completing maintenance logs and performing preventative maintenance tasks.

Maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Working both independently and as part of a team.

Technical requirements:

Relevant trade qualifications with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Experience with mobile plant and equipment.

HR Driver's Licence.

Knowledge of WHS & environmental practices.

Basic computer skills.

Highly Regarded:

Licences for Elevated Work Platform, Forklift, Working at Heights, and Confined Spaces.

Strong background in field service delivery.
