About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Cabinet Maker to join our talented team at Fogarty Consulting & Joinery Design Pty Ltd in Geelong, VIC. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the creation of high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture for our diverse range of clients.

Our goal is to provide a perfect work life balance with 4 day work weeks.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret design drawings and specifications to produce precision-made cabinetry and furniture pieces
• Operate woodworking machinery and tools, including saws, routers, and sanders, to shape, join and finish timber components
• Assemble cabinets, drawers, and other furniture items according to design requirements
• Work collaboratively with the design team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cabinet makers
• Assist in organising, loading, delivering & installing joinery

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Cabinet Maker in high end domestic joinery
• Strong working knowledge of cabinet making techniques, materials, and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret design plans
• Proficiency in the use of woodworking tools and machinery
• A collaborative and client centred approach
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
