Pool Service Technician -

Job Description – Working autonomously or supervised, undertake cleaning and maintenance services of private residential and resort swimming pools, spas and water features. Conduct water testing and balancing - calculating and adding chemicals as required. Willingness to learn and be trained in repairs and installations. Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients and team colleagues in a professional and calm manner. Maintain a clean, orderly and stocked van. Undertake other cleaning, carting, stocking, retail and warehouse duties as directed.

2. Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure

3. Good communication skills both verbal and written, and ability to maintain NEAT legible, detailed records

4. Problem solving skills with an eye for detail and ability to think on your feet

5. Work as a team member or autonomously

6. General mathematical ability

7. General mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing is desirable

Position Details - The successful applicant will be employed on a permanent full time or permanent part time basis and may be supplied with a company vehicle and mobile phone. A Manual Drivers Licence with excellent driving history is essential as is a Commitment to Safe Work Practices.

A three month probation period applies for training and induction.

The successful candidate will be required to work some weekday overtime.

All conditions accrue and pay in accordance with Fair Work.

Health – This position is OUTDOORS, the applicant must be fit and healthy with no back, neck or knee issues. Bending and kneeling is required as well as lifting and carrying weights up to 20kg.
