Role Overview

As a Field Product Representative, you’ll play a critical role in driving demand for our industry-leading welding equipment. Your primary focus will be engaging directly with fabrication businesses, delivering technical product demonstrations, and influencing purchasing decisions.

In some cases, you will facilitate direct sales. In others, you will refer high-interest leads to our dealer network and support them in closing the sale. You will also utilise our CRM system to manage your customer interactions, ensuring structured follow-up, visibility of the sales pipeline, and accountability for results.

This is a field-based role that requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to represent a premium brand with confidence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and visit fabrication shops and end users in your assigned territory

Conduct professional on-site product demonstrations, including MIG, and TIG welding

Qualify and manage opportunities

Accurately log all customer activity, notes, and pipeline progression in our CRM system

Maintain demonstration equipment, tools, and branded collateral to a high standard

Participate in trade shows, dealer events, open days, and product training sessions as required

Your Background & Skills

Proven hands-on welding experience is essential you must be competent in MIG and TIG welding

Previous experience with pulse MIG and double pulse MIG is advantageous

Experience in technical sales or trade-focused business development is highly desirable

Confident, personable, and able to build strong relationships in workshop environments

Strong organisational and time management skills, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude

Experience using CRM systems to manage customer engagement and sales activity is preferred but not essential

Valid driver’s licence required
