We are expanding and looking for a Senior Accountant who is technically strong, people-oriented, and passionate about helping businesses grow and thrive.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in managing client relationships, delivering high-quality accounting and compliance services, and mentoring junior staff. You will work closely with clients across a wide range of industries, providing valuable insight and guidance to support their financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and FBT for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs

Provide strategic business advisory and tax planning to clients

Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor

Oversee and mentor junior accountants and support staff

Liaise with the ATO and other external bodies as needed

Assist in process improvements to drive team efficiency and service delivery

Stay current with tax legislation and industry developments

About You

You are a driven and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering excellent client service. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment where your input is valued, and you can take ownership of your work.

You’ll bring:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in public practice accounting

Strong technical knowledge in Australian tax compliance and financial reporting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A high level of client service and relationship management skills

Experience with Xero and Xero Practice Manager (preferred)

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively

A commitment to continuous learning and contributing to a positive team culture
