We are excited to be exclusively partnering with a highly dynamic, multidisciplinary firm who are part of a strong, national network.

Due to the recent acquisition of a local firm in the area, our client is looking to bolster their team with either an Intermediate, or Senior Accountant to take ownership over a selection of clients, and drive positive outcomes.

They have a strong presence across regional Australia, including a growing office in Toowoomba and have built a reputation for delivering personalised, end-to-end financial and business solutions to individuals, families, and small to medium-sized enterprises.

The Toowoomba team offers a holistic range of services, including accounting and taxation, business planning, cloud accounting, bookkeeping, SMSF compliance, and succession planning. Clients also benefit from integrated access to financial planning, lending, legal, and marketing services, making them a true one-stop shop for financial success.

The Role

Prepare financial statements and tax returns for all entities.

Regularly liaise with large, complex clients to provide top-tier advice.

Dive into more complex tax calculations (Div7a, FBT, CGT, PSI)

Manage and review a team of accountants' work before passing it for the Partner's signature (if senior).

Ensure the team's work meets the firm’s high standards of quality.

Requirements

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you should have:

3+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm

CA/CPA qualifications are preferred, however, experience speaks for itself

Expertise in producing financial statements and tax returns for all entities

Proficiency in Division 7A, CGT, and FBT matters

Ability to mentor, train, and review junior staff members' work (if senior)

Strong communication skills for client liaison and retention

Ambition to excel and a genuine interest in a long term role
