Flavio and Sons Civil is a family-owned earthmoving business which has been operating in South Australia for over 35 years.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the business and add to our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years’ experience managing civil or road projects. The role will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager, and the candidate will be responsible for the delivery of multiple small to medium civil packages valued from $0.5M to $5M.

Our current market presence ranges from medium/large civil packages for Tier 1-3 builders, ranging from bulk excavation/site remediation, base preparations and storm water installation. Currently we have a large range of our own plant/machinery, ranging from 2t - 40t Excavators (with UTS & GPS), Grader, Skid Steers, Rollers & Loader, Semi and Tandem tippers.

The Role:

Manage projects from award to completion, ensuring that projects are completed in line with budgets and program.

Management and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers

Coordinate and liaise with internal and external staff to successfully deliver projects contractual requirements (incl. quality, environmental and safety)

Effectively manage client and subcontractor variations

Manage, monitor and report on project budget, risks and program/milestones

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors and consultants

The ideal candidate:
To be successful in this role you will possess the following.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar

5+ years of Project Management experience, delivering commercial or civil projects

Demonstrate exceptional communication, organisation, and time management skills

Ability to work effectively in a team

Strong problem solving and decision making skills

Sound knowledge of HSEQ and legislation requirements for Civil Construction projects

Ultimately, you will be an ambitious individual, eager to expand your Project Management experience through a diverse range of projects. Demonstrated experience across contract administration will be highly regarded.
