A full time position exists at our Bridgewater on Loddon Victorian site for a Fabricator who is suitably qualified and experienced in engineering, maintenance as well as fitting and general fabrication work. This position is responsible for ensuring that all plant and machinery on site is functional, maintained and serviced in accordance with company standards and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that site plant, equipment and facilities are engineered, maintained and repaired

Perform routine and scheduled maintenance

Ensure that preventative maintenance programs are effective

Understand and comply with company policies and procedures

Comply with WH&S legislation, regulations and standards

Participate in planning of engineering projects

Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine faults

Coordinate and carry out the servicing of milling equipment and machinery, buildings and facilities

Work flexibly as part of a team, adapting your role and duties as appropriate to requirement

Actively cooperate with all other personnel, promoting an efficient and friendly working environment

Maintain flexibility regarding overtime and manage call outs as required

Competencies required

Trade qualification in engineering (Fabricator preferred)

Experience in predictive and preventative engineering programs and best practices

A valid drivers licence and forklift license

The ability to work unsupervised

Previous experience working in food production and especially the grain/milling industry would be an advantage

Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and confined space accreditation would be an advantage

Remuneration will be negotiated subject to formal qualifications and / or relevant industry experience.
