The Australian product range will include several flavored Hard Seltzers made with Australian wine and premium natural flavors, have light carbonation and 8% ABV and targeted to the 18-24 year old demographic. The Role
We’re hiring a Full-Time Field Sales Representative to be our boots on the ground in Sydney. This is a performance-focused role with a mix of new business development and account management, perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You’ll work closely with our US-based CEO, Melbourne-based distributor, and ambassador team to build relationships, close deals, and grow Besa’s presence in the independent liquor and hospitality channels in NSW and beyond.
Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
Prospect and secure new on-premise and off-premise accounts including bottle shops, independent liquor stores, bars, pubs, and more across NSW.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring consistent reorders and strong brand presence.
Coordinate with our distributor and retail partners to manage orders, deliveries, and in-store execution.
Regularly update and maintain our CRM with accurate account activity, call notes, and lead status.
Reporting & Communication
Provide weekly and monthly sales reports with clear metrics, wins, challenges, and forecasts.
Communicate promptly and professionally with internal teams, distributors, and customers.
Act as the local face of Besa – you’ll represent our brand at all times with integrity and enthusiasm.
Tastings & Team Support
Support our tastings program by helping coordinate, schedule, and train part-time ambassadors.
Occasionally conduct in-store tastings or attend events as a brand representative when needed (ultimately, you’d manage ambassadors who do this)
Collaborate with the CEO and distributor to execute field sales strategies and optimize territory coverage.
Travel
While your primary territory is NSW, you may be required to travel occasionally to support activations or sales opportunities in other states.
Requirements
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
Reliable form of transportation.
2+ years of field sales experience, ideally in the alcohol industry.
Proven track record in door-to-door or territory-based sales with a hunter mentality.
Strong organizational and communication skills – you're prompt, professional, and detail-oriented.
Experience using CRM software to track pipeline and manage contacts.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally and occasionally interstate.
Comfortable working independently and remotely while meeting weekly KPIs.
Love and enthusiasm for sales in the alcoholic beverage industry
Nice to Have
Existing relationships in the NSW liquor trade.
Experience working with distributors and large retailers and coordinating tastings/events.
Passion for start-up culture and the opportunity to grow with a brand from the ground up.
