Role and Responsibilities
This exciting new role is situated within the Policy and Advocacy team and reports to the Senior Lead Policy and Advocacy. The Data and Research Officer will play a critical role in providing an evidence base that contributes to our systemic advocacy and policy development. You will be responsible for sourcing, compiling and analysing data and research, including surveys, reports and academic papers. Your high-quality analysis will provide factual insights that inform our policy positions and advocacy that benefits carers.
This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate advice clearly and effectively through excellent written and verbal communication.

Experience and Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in research and data analysis that contributes to policy and/or advocacy work.
Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
