About the role

BM Welding & Maintenance Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified Boilermaker to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for performing a range of welding and fabrication duties to support our operations.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting and following engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components

Performing welding tasks using a variety of welding techniques and equipment

Repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment and structures

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard

Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and quality control measures

What we're looking for

Formal qualification as a Boilermaker, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience

Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Skilled in performing a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and stick welding

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Forklift licence and white card will be an advantage
