Structural Drafter – MicroStation | Contract Role Perth

Australian Drafting & Design Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Structural Drafter with strong MicroStation skills to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a contract position with an immediate start and genuine potential to transition into a long-term role.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality structural drawings across a range of engineering projects.

What We’re After

Proven proficiency creating structural design drawings efficiently in MicroStation (V8i or CONNECT).

Ability to collaborate with engineers to ensure all deliverables meet project expectations and design criteria.

Solid background in a structural drafting environment.

Capability to prepare preliminary drawings, modify existing drawings, and produce as-built documentation in line with technical standards.

Commitment to delivering design documentation on time and to a high standard—end-to-end drafting from concept through to final as-builts.

Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a safe, professional working environment.

Bonus: experience with substation structure drafting and familiarity with ProjectWise or similar EDMS.
