Float Truck Driver – 10 Wheeler / 8 Wheeler

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Float Driver to join our team. You’ll be operating a well-maintained 10-wheeler beavertail or 8-wheeler tilt tray, transporting a variety of civil and construction machinery across Sydney and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

You’ll be moving a range of plant and access equipment including:

Excavators (up to 14t)

Skid steers & Posi-tracks

Site dumpers & rollers

EWP & access gear

General civil and construction machinery

To be successful, you’ll need:

Prior float/truck loading experience is a must

NSW HR Licence

Solid understanding of load restraint, tie-downs, and safe transport

Good knowledge of Sydney roads and traffic conditions

A reliable and punctual work ethic

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Strong communication skills – dealing with site crews and schedulers

Truck Location & Flexibility:

Truck is based in Pitt Town, but can be taken home depending on your location and security.

Work is mostly local across the Sydney Metro area with occasional regional runs.
