About the Role

As an Estimator at ACC, you’ll play a key role in the success of our construction projects, from early evaluation to cost estimation, supplier engagement, and risk analysis. Reporting to the Lead Estimator, you’ll collaborate closely with our Project Teams and Designers/Architects and Subcontractors.

As an Estimator you will be:

Analysing project plans and specs to define scope and cost.

Preparing accurate estimates for labour, materials, and subcontractor services.

Sourcing supplier pricing and coordinating materials.

Communicating with stakeholders and sub-contractors to clarify project requirements.

Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities.

Continuously improving estimating methods through project feedback.

Great Backgrounds for This Role

Estimating experience is ideal, but we’re also open to applicants from roles with transferable skills, including:

Quantity Surveyors (QS)

Contracts Administrators with cost planning experience

Project Engineers or Site Engineers who want to move into pre-construction

Tradespeople with strong cost analysis and project scoping experience

Anyone with construction industry knowledge and analytical skills looking to grow into an Estimator role

What You Bring

Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction estimating or related role

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. Cubit, CostX)

Strong communication and analytical skills

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously

Trade or site background highly regarded
