Our Sunshine Coast Home and Community service is seeking a part-time Service Support Worker. Our Service Support Workers provide invaluable support by providing general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support to our older population with help around their homes.

There is no personal care, hygiene or medication aspect within this role.

This role will service: Coolum, Peregian, Marcoola, Mudjimba, Bli Bli, Rosemount, Diddillibah, Maroochy River, North Arm, Eerwah Vale, Yandina, Doonan, Kenilworth

About you:

• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required

Qualifications:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
