About the role

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Greg Hennessey Smash Repairs' in Woolgoolga, NSW. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials between our workshop and various locations. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in supporting our operations within the Road Transport industry.

What you'll be doing

Operate a range of light and heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness

Adhere to all relevant road rules, regulations, and safety procedures

Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation related to deliveries

Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required

Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders

Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the transport operations

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence (HR or HC class)

Strong knowledge of road rules, regulations, and safety practices

Excellent driving skills and the ability to operate a variety of light and heavy vehicles

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
